MoveWizard is a trading brand of Wizardtec Ltd, registered in England & Wales. Wizardtec Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described below and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). What we collect

• Account details — your email address and a securely hashed password when you register.
• Property searches — the postcodes, addresses and property types you assess, and the reports generated, saved to your account history.
• Payment information — when you buy credits or a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details; we keep a record of the transaction (amount, date, status) and a Stripe customer reference.
• Usage data — basic technical information such as the pages you visit, needed to operate and secure the service.

Why we collect it

• To create and manage your account and let you log in.
• To generate property assessments and keep your report history available to you.
• To take payment for credits and subscriptions, and to send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets, receipts).
• To operate, secure and improve the service.

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are contract (to provide the service you sign up for), legitimate interests (to run and secure the service), and consent where you opt in to non-essential communications or to the optional sharing of your details with selected partners described below.

Sharing your details with selected UK-based partners (with your consent)

With your explicit opt-in consent — given at registration or from the Privacy preferences section of your account — MoveWizard may share your name, email and the postcodes or addresses you have assessed with carefully selected UK-based partners, including estate agents and conveyancers. This sharing is entirely optional and does not affect your access to MoveWizard. You can withdraw your consent at any time from your account, and we will stop sharing your data with new partners from that point onwards. Our lawful basis for this sharing is consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). When you withdraw, the withdrawal is recorded with a timestamp so we have an audit trail. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes outside this opt-in.

Third parties who process data for us

We use trusted providers to deliver the service. Each only processes what is needed for their function:

• Vercel — hosting.
• Neon — secure database for your account and report history.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending transactional emails.
• Anthropic — AI generation of the written assessment. We send the property's data points, not your personal account details.
• Property and open-data sources — we query public and licensed data (such as police.uk, the Office for National Statistics, OpenStreetMap, the Environment Agency and PropertyData) using the location you enter. These queries do not include your personal identity.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and report history for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we must keep limited records (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting). Cached location data used to speed up reports is anonymous and not linked to you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies and local storage

We use minimal local storage in your browser to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Security

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing and never in plain text. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
